The Internet Scope -- You Don't Have to Be a Literary-Genius Or Live in Hollywood to Acquire a Celebrity-Spot

Back-in-the-day, before the popularity of blogging and social media initialized, accomplishing the goal of becoming an author, may have been quite the feat for some individuals. And then, the ease of publishing works (of a scholarly-nature or simply of a mundane-nature on the internet, became the everyday-thing-to-do; in blog writing and social media posts (among other formats). 

My... How things have changed. And, as for becoming a celebrity -- The internet allows for an "everyday-Joe" to post a few videos-gone-viral (or social-media posts) that he created, and soon -- he is a household-name. (Some of that, also goes for celebrity-pets.) Grumpy Cat and Maru the Cat, may have really become quite iconic in their time. Do you not agree?
