The word: "aloha" may be ambiguously meaningful. "Hello" -- as being one side of the "greeting coin," and "goodbye" -- as being the other side of the "greeting coin." How cool is that versatile application?
It's kind of like the word: "awesome." You may sincerely apply it, when you are expressing genuine positive amazement; or, sarcastically apply it, when you are expressing negative amazement; thinly veiling that amazement, with an amazingly awesome term (being "awesome") that may also be ambiguously meaningful.
If you can appreciate the above double-backed perspective, about "awesome" and "aloha" -- that's awesome! If not, I guess we can say "aloha"... (Just kidding, lol...) It's awesome, that we may be on the same page :)
